She wore a high-neck satin Dior gown with deep-cut sides, trailing gems down her back by Tiffany  and the most stunning sunshine-yellow shawl draped around her arms with an impressive train.
To complete her perfection: a beautiful chignon bun made by celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russel and a natural makeup with red lips made by celebrity make-up artist  Georgie Eisdell using DIor Beauty.

Miriam Leone in Dior

Miriam Leone, one of the most talented and beautiful young Italian actresses in Italian cinema, said yes in her homeland: Scicli in Sicily. She got married to Paolo Carullo, after 2 year sof love.

The marriage was preceded by a reserve on the part of the couple. A reserve broken by the Municipality of Scicli who announced it.
We were all curious to see what Miriam would wear, she is now a style and fashion icon.

Our curiosity was fully satisfied as soon as Miriam started posting photos of her on her instagram profile: Dior, by Mariagrazia Chiuri had made her a real princess by making 3 dresses, one more beautiful than the other.
Yes, you read that right: 3 wonderful wedding dresses.
Here they are below.

The first wedding dress, in a princely style made of organza, with a veil.  between the wefts of the lace the seamstresses made ears of wheat, so loved by Miriam. Naturally handmade.

The third wedding dress (for wedding party) was a perfect example of the Hollywood of the past where being glam was a rule. Miriam is a lover of the films with GInger Rogers and Fred Astaire.

Ciao! Bonjour!

Have you been awake to admire the virtual red carpet of the Golden Globes?
Don’t worry! Here you’ll find the best dresses of this strange edition.

Let’s s start with Anya Taylor-Joy.

The 24-year-old actress chose a green Dior Haute Couture dress by Maria Grazia Chiuri and a platinum and diamonds pendant, earrings, and a ring by Tiffany
OMG!!!! She was stunning!!!

Her kimono overcoat is incredible!!! I love her long blond hair in vintage Hollywood style (she reminds me of Veronica lake) and the V-neckline.

The personal stylist, Law Roach @luxurylaw (number 1), made a great job and shared the backstage of her look on his Instagram account.

Simply wonderful!
Do you like her?

Join digital entrepreneur and House friend Chiara Ferragni as she heads on a fascinating tour with art historian and IF Unique Art Experiences creative director Filippo Cosmelli through Puglia, the southern Italian region that inspired the #DiorCruise 2021 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The area has been shaped by the numerous civilizations and cultures that have called it home for millennia, and their vestiges can still be found in towns such as Galatina and the baroque splendor of Lecce, in which the show took place, in everything from intricate golden jewelry to breathtaking chapel murals, from the weaving tradition to local dialects and song.

Dior Cruise 2021 - Lecce

Last night I felt a very strong emotion, an immense pride.
The pride of being Pugliese and of having always known and experienced that typical beauty of my land.

Maria Grazia Chiuri gave us an unprecedented show, impossible to describe.
I was curious and impatient to know the essence of her project and I was not disappointed. Rather!

“It’s important for the local people to understand the value of their tradition,” she said. “Probably the most important thing that I understood during these four years at Dior—in Paris they’re so proud about their tradition; fashion is part of their cultural heritage. But we don’t have the same attitude in Italy. Probably it’s because these traditions are made by women at home, so there’s this idea that it’s domestic work. They don’t think it’s creative work. They don’t give it the same value. They don’t celebrate it. With this show I hope to give a different point of view to the local people about that. It’s not only a dialogue with our audience outside, but it’s really a dialogue with the territory.”

Theater, dance, architecture, history, fashion, craftsmanship, style ... all concentrated in 26 minutes.

The models in Dior who pass light and sweet among the pizzica dancers (they were extraordinary), the thrilling voices of the singers of the orchestra of La notte della Taranta, the lights of Luminarie (a project signed by the artist Marinella Senatore) to decorate one of the most beautiful squares in Italy.
There were pinafore dresses, blanket-fringe skirts, and hand-knit sweaters, and models wore kerchiefs in their hair and flat boots on their feet. So cool!

How wonderful Giuliano San Giorgi's homage to the most beautiful Puglia and to one of its great masters: Domenico Modugno. I sang with him!

This fashoin show is a real declaration of love by Maria Grazia Chiuri to her/my land.

Puglia, after this fashion show, will be even more famous, more loved, more desired.
Grazie Dior!

#DiorCruise is coming...

"A journey into my memory", so Maria Grazia Chiuri describes the fashion show on July 22th (audience-free due to Covid) during the press conference with the Mayor of Lecce, Carlo Salvemini.
Dior staff is reduced and the models will be 45, instead of 100.

Maria Grazia Chiuri has a family connection with my Puglia: "My farher was born in Tricase and my daughter was also born here - she said - and I return here every summer since I was a child".
She chose local craftsmen for the new Cruise collection: "The fabrics for making the jackets come from the weaving workshop of the Costantine, an association of women based in Uggiano La Chiesa, a place with the culture of bobbin lace ".

The orchestra of the Notte della Taranta, directed by Paolo Buonvino, will accompany the fashion show and Giuliano San Giorgi, Negramaro leader, will play an homage to Puglia.

Chiuri also defended the perimeter of Piazza Duomo designed with "Luminarie", a traditional lightings born to be part of the Patron Saint's town celebration. "When the artist Marinella Senatore told me about it I immediately liked the idea ".
There will be only a few guests: @chiaraferragni and @fedez (in my Puglia for a few days) the actress Stefania Rocca with her husband Carlo Capasa, the President of Camera della Moda italiana and Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive of lvmh.

See you at 20:45 on the maison's social channels and on dior.com/cruise21, live from Piazza Duomo, Lecce-
The collection will be in Dior stores at Christmas 2020.

Dior Bobby Bag

The maison's latest bag, the Dior Bobby, takes after a sweet tradition.

Monsieur Dior had a beloved pooch called Bobby – for which he named many things within the Dior universe after. For example, each collection included a model called 'Bobby' destined for success," wrote the designer in his memoirs.

Now Maria Grazia Chiuri created a new it bag called Bobby.
It has an elegant rounded shape and the "CD" logo on the front and the "30 Montaigne" address on the back, a refined reference to the iconic bag of the same name.

It's available in three sizes.
It is made in Florence, the heart of leather goods production in my Italy.

Did you know this amazing tradition?

Dior Autumn-Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture

I just watch a masterpiece! I don't think there can be a better definition to describe the new autum/winter 2020 2021 Haute Couture collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior!

I'm really speechless and it doesn't happen often. Believe me!

I was sure that we would see something beautiful when I read that Matteo Garrone would direct, in a video, the show of the Dior collection, but I never thought of finding myself in a dream from which I don't want to wake up!

The idea of clothes in miniantura, of the female nature that remains fascinated by them ... crazy!

The only way to understand what I'm talking about is to watch the video.

Ohhh that black dress!
